Goat Cheese Mac and Cheese

So the past few days I’ve pretty much been a zombie due to the fact that I had worked overnight from 7pm till 9am, so I thought I would treat myself tonight with this. I used to get this all the time from Super Mac on 7th ave, but then they decided to go out of business, so now I have to make this for myself.
Apple Walnut and Gorgonzola Crostata

I was bored between classes today, so I decided to make this crostata Giada was making today on her show. I changed a few things around though to fit what I had available due to the fact that I didn’t want to go to the store, but it was okay. My friends and I felt it needed something else added to it.
Ina’s Cranberry Orange Scones

Buying my Kitchen Aid Artisan mixer was probably the best decision I’ve made in a while. It just makes baking so much easier than when I only had a wire whisk to work with. So I decided to make Ina Garten’s cranberry orange scones as the dessert for two of my friends that I had over for dinner tonight. They’re always a hit.
Escarole and Bean Soup

I FINALLY purchased my Kitchen Aid artisan mixer, and was hoping to post some key lime cupcakes for here, but they didn’t turn out as expected. So instead he is a delicious soup thats easy to make. Tastes even better the next day.
Eggs Benedict

Ever since I learned how to poach eggs, I make them regularly. I thoroughly enjoyed this.
Zucchini Cupcakes

My mother always used to make this recipe. It’s really easy to do and great for parties. Also if you aren’t a fan of zucchini, replace it with spinach and mushrooms instead. These can be made pretty much with anything, just follow the basic recipe and add whatever you want.
Arugula Salad with Warm Bacon Vinaigrette

This is probably one of the best things I’ve eaten all month. For the past few weeks I’ve wanted to try making a poached egg. I was discussing it with a friend and they suggested this recipe. I had never poached and egg before and I was hesitant due to the fact that I was afraid I wouldn’t like how it tastes or that I would mess it up badly. On my first try, I perfectly poached the egg like a fucking champ. It’s really not that difficult when you know exactly step by step what to do. But the overall recipe was amazing and its definitely worth trying.
Asparagus Risotto

I eat way too much risotto. It’s just so damn good. There are so many different recipes, but this is my overall favorite one.
Blueberry Scones

Overview: Whenever I’m bored I bake. I thought scones would be a little more difficult to make than they actually were. This recipe was simple, and the scones came out really good! Incase you don’t like blueberries, you can always sub them for raspberries, or dried cranberries, the recipe can easily be changed to fix your tastes.
Crab Cakes

Overview: I always wanted to learn how to make crab cakes, but I was always afraid of it being such a difficult process. So I decided to make these a few weeks ago for a small cocktail party I was having. It’s a very easy recipe I stumbled upon and updated it to make them even better. It’s also not too costly, they tasted pretty damn good, and best of all, easy clean up.
